Homburg Uni-Care

The companies of the Homburg Group wish to make a positive and supportive contribution to society. In order to do this in a structured fashion, the Homburg Uni-Care foundation has been set up.

Homburg Uni-Care selects charities and humanitarian organisations that distinguish themselves by their quality and effort. The Homburg Uni-Care foundation supports a number of organisations every year. One of Homburg Uni-Care’s activities consists of coordinating the 2006 Christmas Campaign.

Homburg Participaties has opted to support two organisations instead of making promotional gifts. This Christmas, we and our business relations are donating a total sum of € 30,000 to:

Orange Babies.
Orange Babies is a foundation that has the primary aim of helping HIV positive, pregnant women and their babies in Africa. For 5 euro, a woman in the final month of her pregnancy can get medicines that reduce the chance that the child will also be infected to 50%. The primary goal of the organisation, therefore, is to collect money for medicines so that mothers with HIV can have healthy babies.

NoBEL
In the Netherlands, there are many idealistic organisations that perform marvellous work. Many small and/or new organisations that have too small a budget to hire an advertising or marketing bureau miss out on donations because people do not know about them. NoBEL altruistically brings such organisations to the attention of the public at large by developing and executing marketing/advertising campaigns in cooperation with these organisations.
